Who we are

PetGuides.au is operated by Mr Tayne Rongo trading as SeaQae Local, sole trader, Perth WA. ABN 40 300 987 116.

What we collect

We collect enquiry form data, including name, email and message content. We may also collect claim form data, account data if you sign up, owner dashboard data, and anonymous analytics about how the site is used.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card details; Stripe handles card processing. We do not collect precise background location tracking data or sell personal information.

How enquiries are shared

Enquiries go to the named business only. We do not sell, resell, auction or pass enquiry details to any other third party.

Data retention

We retain enquiry records for 24 months. Account data is retained until account deletion. Anonymous analytics are retained for 12 months.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where deletion is legally and technically available.

We use essential cookies for core site functions, optional analytics cookies for aggregate site measurement, optional preferences cookies for saved choices, and optional advertising cookies if Google AdSense display advertising is enabled. Advertising partners

PetGuides.au does not use display advertising on account, dashboard, claim, sign-in, search, submit, contact, privacy or terms pages. We do not sell enquiry data, and display ads do not change directory ranking.

If PetGuides.au serves ads to users in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, ad serving must use Google Privacy & messaging or another Google-certified Consent Management Platform that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.
